Dive into a world that I can guarantee is not a cookie cutter version of the genre.
I enjoyed Daphne as a main character. She was flawed and had her issues, but I think that it made her endearing.
I personally liked the fact that this novel is not predictable. You get a lot of clues throughout the novel about where the story is going, what secrets are being hidden, etc. But it really does take you a good part of the novel to put everything together. Kudos to Judy Serrano for managing to keep the mystery alive in her novel.
