The group is currently focused on rescuing her brother, while also searching for his missing sister who has suddenly disappeared. No one in the group suspects that the missing sister is the duke's new, mysterious mistress. But what will happen when they do? What will happen when the duke finds out he is harboring a murderess?

Review
What a great book! I enjoyed this one without a doubt.

The writing is concise and the the point. The author doesn't skirt around things and really shines the light on her characters and setting, while keeping the pace steady and keeping the reader on their toes.

I loved that it had great characters who I cared about, as well as an overall captivating story

A Real Life Fable

Nonfiction / Spirituality

Publisher: ‎ MindStir Media

Date Published: July 7, 2021

Journeys are rarely straight lines. Unlike a committed tradition such as, say, Buddhism or Catholicism, this is the spiritual path of "Whatever Life Throws At You." In the tradition of Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi and Ram Das's Be Here Now, this "little Baptist boy" leads you through the arduous spiritual journey of apostasy, mystical psychosis, sexual excess, drug addiction, homelessness and finally embracing death, all in a quest not only to know, but to ultimately become, All That Is.

Praise

"After the Rapture, by Randy Lee Higgins, is the story of the author's winding spiritual path through the trials and tribulations of his life so far. In addition to being very highly educated, Randy has always had an open mind and willingness to explore any experience that would bring him closer to understanding how to move through life with an open heart and true acceptance of the world around him. His journey has included, among other things, drug addiction, sexual excess, homelessness; all of which he has used as learning experiences to help embrace the idea of what death actually is and how to have peace in life now. Reading about his experiences is sometimes shocking, but you can't help but admire his open-heartedness and wonder and willingness to really dive deep and learn his own truths."

--#1 bestselling author J.J. Hebert

About the Author

Randy was born in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. After graduating summa cum laude from Virginia Tech and receiving a master's degree in Family Therapy, he completed his doctoral degree at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. By far, most of his education was delivered by the "School of Hard Knocks." His gift is in seeing the miracle in everything, even in a tragedy -- even in the current global catastrophe. He is now back in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the house he grew up in, where he is looking forward to growing old and dying. Or not.

Historical Fiction

Date Published: July 10, 2021

Finn Hemingway knows for a fact that she's been born at the wrong time into the wrong family with the wrong talents, making her three dreams for the future almost impossible to attain. She burns to be a trial lawyer in an era when Ruth Bader Ginsburg is being told to type and when a man who is 500th in his law school class is hired over a woman who is first in hers. She yearns to find true love when the family curse dictates that love always ends for the Hemingways, and usually, it ends badly. And finally, she'd give up the first two dreams if she were able to triumph on the third. She longs to have an impact on the only thing that matters to her father: his writing. To accomplish that would require a miracle. All three dreams are almost impossible, but it's the "almost" that keeps Finn going. Ernest Hemingway had three sons but ached to have a daughter.

Katharine Branham guides you through the life-changing journey she experienced while finding her superpowers.

Katharine takes you on a tour of the spirit world only a select few can truly identify with.

Her journey begins as a young child encountering spirits such as the friends in her closet and the man visiting at the foot of her bed. She initially thought everybody could see the things she was seeing but soon realized that wasn’t the case. Later, Katharine explains, “As I continued to notice more unusual things, I felt they were purposely being pointed out to me.” Was this “Frequency” turning her into a spiritual antenna of clairsentience?

Was Katharine being prepared for something greater?

Get ready to travel down a twisted path of uncertainty and meet several awe-inspiring characters like Archangel Michael, Mother Mary, Jesus, and many more.

Follow her as she predicts future events well ahead of time like the COVID-19 outbreak, 2020 presidential election results, and many more.

Book Tour & Book Review: CORINTH 2642 AD by Bindiya Schaefer #blogtour #nowontour #giveaway #scifi #thriller #rabtbooktours @RABTBookTours @bindiyaschaefer

Adult Sci-Fi Thriller

Date Published: Sept 21, 2021

Publisher: Zenith Publishing

A lot has changed in 2642 AD. Chocolate has become extinct, Hyperloops have replaced cars and wearable technology is the norm. But nothing has changed more than humans themselves. People no longer identify themselves as White, Asian, Brown or Black. Because of globalization and war, no one person is ethnically like the other because they are a beautiful mix of every race that existed before them.

This is the world that Cara yearns to escape to. She can no longer be a part of the pureblood, white supremacist cult (led by her imperial grandfather Julius Bull) where she was raised, so she and other young people make a run for it.

Desperate to keep Cara's dissidence quiet for fear of losing face and potentially inciting a power struggle against his own police force, Bull calls in some favors and requests Jimmy Matoo, a Special Investigator from San Francisco, to help him.

For Matoo, the visit to Corinth, Oregon, is eye-opening. He has never seen a white person before, at least not in real life. He quickly discovers that to keep their bloodline pure and grow the populace, the surviving colonies have been intermarrying to keep producing the next generation of survivors. And, that's not all. His investigation reveals dozens of young colony members have gone missing over the years, and some have been found dead on the outskirts of Corinth.

With the clock ticking, Matoo's missing persons investigation soon becomes a fight for survival—turns out the residents don't like a brown fellow in their midst. Can he find Cara, figure out what happened to his brother, and save the leader's family from the cabal terrorizing Corinth before it's too late? Maybe. But first, he must find out who in the colony has the means and connections to smuggle the dissidents out without being detected because it could be the difference between life and death.

Review
Witty, action-packed, beautiful in its descriptiveness, and compelling.
I was very intrigued by the story, world, action, and how everything came together.
This was a great sci-fi read! Don't miss it!

Review
Autumn Lishky has a great ability for description. She really makes the reader understand the ins and outs of her characters by giving such in-depth descriptions.

I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and the great addition of WIT. I found myself laughing out loud many times through this read.

Overall, I  really enjoyed this. There is plenty going on and its a very quick yet satisfying read.
