Review

In a time full of many fluff vampire stories, having them so romanticized, you lose the heart of where the vampire stories came from. Elizabeth Guizzetti manages to take us back to that in a wonderfully executed way.

I loved the imagination the author showed with both her world and her characters.

It's a great fluid piece of writing that makes for a quick read.

Review

This book is so superbly written!

I think the cover does a great job of setting the mood. This story will make you think, make you feel, and just touch you in a way you did not expect all the while being fun and whimsical.

Wonderful characters, multi-dimensional and believable. A plot that's pacing is right on and captivating, there are just not enough good things to say about this book. GREAT NOVEL!

Two boys train at the Academy to become Knights of Valor. Best friends, one is filled with light while the other leans towards darkness.

They both have the power to change the world - or destroy it - in their battle for what they believe is right.

Review

I enjoyed so much about this novel, I love the world that A.E. Stanfill has created for us.

This one is action packed. It will 'keep you on the edge of your seat, show you the value of friendship and you will root for the characters til the very end.

These characters each have their own personalities and depth to them. None of them felt one-dimensional or forced, they all shined through as individuals.

A Wonderful Fantasy that I can't get enough of.

Review

I loved this book! There is a lot between these covers. I loved the way the author stayed true to the Fantasy genre, but managed to incorporates plenty of other aspects to keep the plot full of action.

This is a book worth reading if you enjoy fantasy or paranormal books. They are wonderful to get away and live in a different world for a bit.

It is an adult oriented book that will take you on a quest and leave you wanting more.

ng"> PI Red Farlow is on the hunt to find $300 million a Florida insurance executive has bilked out of family and friends.

Woody Cunningham stashed the money in safe havens around the world before disappearing. Has he been done in by one of his enemies? Or did he skip town with his girlfriend to live off the ill-gotten wealth? If that’s the case, where is he?

Farlow must quickly learn how and why people hide their money in offshore accounts if he's to find out what happened to Cunningham.

When a tough guy from Farlow's past resurfaces, wanting to settle an old score, Farlow discovers he also has links to the missing man. Clues lead him across Georgia and Florida, and Europe, to find the answers.

Is Woody Cunningham dead, or just rich and gone?

Excerpt

(Chapter 1)

Chadwick Woodrow Cunningham once gave me a fine cigar. Like the man, the smoke looked classy, robust, and expensive, but it left a foul aftertaste I couldn’t shake.

Born into a wealthy Atlanta family, Cunningham excelled in his education, achieved success beyond imagination, and exuded confidence in everything he did.

His friends regarded him as outgoing and smooth with the ladies. They hailed him as a moneymaking smart guy. Others saw him as impetuous and unfaithful to his wife. The people who invested in his bogus funds regarded him as a cheat in business.

What the hell. Chadwick Woodrow Cunningham had life by the ass, everyone agreed. But on a football Friday night near a small South Georgia town, his life changed forever.

He disappeared.

Someone hired me to inquire about some missing money—nearly three-hundred million dollars—entrusted to Mr. Cunningham. By happenstance, my investigation started a few weeks before he vanished. I soon learned what transpired that evening and how people who knew him assessed Cunningham’s mood in the days before then.

One thing became apparent. As influential and exceptional as Cunningham thought of himself, people valued the money he stole far more than the man.

Every day you’re driven nuts by the people around you making common sense errors and irrational decisions. Imagine what life would look like if you didn’t have to waste time and energy dealing with stubborn, clueless, argumentative, defensive, or apathetic coworkers! Thank goodness Eric Bailey translates decades of brain science research into every-day language, helping you break through common communication barriers that will improve every relationship in your life. Whether you work in the executive suite or on the front-line, this book will teach you how to cure the stupidity all around you.

My Thoughts

If I were a manager intoday's corporate world, I would make reading this book mandatory as part of training. I think that watching a course from Eric M. Bailey or having him as a speaker would be the most beneficial, but I think simply reading this book could cut down on so many daily issues that arise simply from the lack of communicating properly.

I love the way Eric writes in a no nonsense way while also teaching us in a simplified manner. I think that is very necessary.

Read this TODAY!

 photo Awards_zps70zurwzz.png

About the Author

I wrote this story “If I Could Run” to tell my experience of being bullied when I was a Sophomore/Junior in high school in 1958/59. It was such a humiliating, depressing and agonizing time in my life. I can remember it so clearly 60 years later. Bullying is still so active in today`s society. However, I believe it is even worse with social media being so available. When I was going through my bullying experience, I could at least find peace and security at my home after school and on weekends. Now, social media allows a person to be bullied twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. My story tells how I was able to get through this horrible experience.

A movie producer picked up my story and together we produced the movie. Because we had the opportunity to have an up and coming young female star play the lead role, I changed the main character to be female instead of male. The movie is filmed on my farm, at my high school and in my town where the actual bullying occurred so many years ago. We entered it in film festivals around the country and it was received very positively, winning many prestigious awards.
